- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Asymmetric Warfare Group (AWG) headquarter at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland has a requirement for Security Guard Services. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, management, and support services necessary to support the AWG in the successful accomplishment of its mission. The information you need to submit in response to this synopsis is located on our Webpage at http://www.wsmr.army.mil/docpage/pages/sol_stat.htm. The submissions must be submitted by 2:00 PM MDT on 25 July 2006. S ubmissions must be made electronically to Mari B. Beckler at mari.beckler@wsmr.army.mil. It is anticipated that award be made prior to 14 August 2006 with phase-in 21-31 August 2006 and full performance to begin 01 September 2006. Payments for these services will made using Government VISA card. A fixed price contract will be awarded with a cost-reimbursable line items for materials and equipment. The contract will have one (1) base year and four (4) one-yea r option periods. The contract will also include award fee provisions. You will be required to return at least 60% of any earned award fee to your employees. This requirement is being procured as a service-disabled veteran owned, small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for Security Guards and Patrol Services 561612 averaging receipts for the three fiscal years not to exceed $11,500,000.
