- Andersen AFB has a requirement for airfield paving, marking, and rubber removal. The RFP will be posted on or about 28 Jul 06 Airfield Asphalt Paving and Marking Synopsis Work for this requirement includes, but is not limited to: furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, quality control and supervision necessary to complete paving, marking and rubber removal. The work to be performed in connection to this project includes but is not limited to a). topographic survey and reporting, b). demolition and removal, c). embankment, sodding and hydroseeding, d). material placement, e). Portland cement concrete pavement, f). asphalt pavement, g). airfield pavement markings and rubber removal, h). all other work specified in the specifications and shown on drawings and/or miscellaneous incidental work not shown that may be required to complete the project, and clean up and disposal of debris. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 237310 with a Size Standard of $28.5 M. The minimum guarantee is $100,000.00 for the life of the contract. The contract, when awarded is for a base year and four option years of 12 months each. The contract type contemplated for this requirement is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price contract. Contract award would be based on Best Value using Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) procedures. Offers are solicited on an unrestricted basis. The Government may elect to award multiple IDIQ contracts under this solicitation. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project is more than $10,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204 (h). Interested firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be awarded any Federal contracts. All interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation. Prospective contractors are responsible to visit the site periodically for any changes/updates to the solicitation that may occur, as no paper copies would be issued.
