- The Air Force Departmental Publishing Office (AFDPO), located at 3 Brookley Avenue, Bldg 94, Bolling AFB, DC 20032-5000 may have a requirement for Customer Service Support, Conversion Services Support, Web Administration/Sustainment Support, Administrative Support, and IMT Designer Training. The AFDPO provides around-the-clock support to Air Force customers worldwide by ensuring published information products are available in a timely manner and in the media most necessary to accomplish its mission. The AFDPO is transforming Air Force administrative publishing to a fully electronic environment. To meet this objective, the AFDPO is acquiring support services to assist in this effort. A draft copy of the Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS), with details of the technical requirements, has been posted on FedBizOps for your information (Ref: Solicitation: F1AF146074A100). In accordance with the PWS, the Contractor shall provide technical and operational support services to assist the AFDPO improve mission performance and objectives. Contractor personnel required to work with classified material must have SECRET clearances prior to start of work. The Government will not conduct or assume costs for security clearances required of contractor personnel after award of a contract, IAW Industrial Security Procedures. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.203, this serves as a pre-solicitation notice. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This request is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, or a Request for Quotes. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government shall not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of information or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this pre-solicitation notice. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The intent is to make one award to a small business capable of providing these services. The period of performance is currently forecast as 10 October 2006 through 9 October 2007, with four (1 year) option periods. All potential sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered eligible for award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 518210 and the corresponding SIC Code is 7374, with the small business size standard not to exceed $23 million. A Request for Proposal (RFP) may be distributed, solely on the FedBizOps (www.EPS.gov) website, on or about 14 July 2006. NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. When posted, the solicitation can be accessed by following the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of the Air Force (USAF), Direct Reporting Units, and 11th CONS, Bolling AFB FedBizOps website links. REQUESTS FOR A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for the posting of and any updates/amendments to the solicitation.
