Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z1586160A200; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-10 and Defense DCN 20060616. This acquisition will be full and open competition; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 1730. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3829. This request for quotation consists of the following Tow-behind Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment and Self-Wetting System: Item 0001: Mk6 MuMeter OR EQUAL: 1 each; Complete with: Toughbook Panasonic Computer for in-vehicle use, power cable, calibration cable, vehicle cable, test board, restrainer, on-board processor, USB memory stick, ?C? clamp, jockey wheel, chassis friction measuring unit, operating and maintenance manuals, pavement friction analysis software, one year warranty. Item 0002: MuMeter Self-Wetting System OR EQUAL: 1 each; Includes: Trailer-mounted 300-gallon polypropylene tank, selectable application rates of .02 to .04 inch uniform depth, flow rate indirect relationship to speed of travel. Item 0003: Turn Key Installation with operator and preventative maintenance training: 1 each. All equal items must meet or exceed the features of the items described. The delivery location is Travis AFB, California. Ensure you include the delivery time for project completion. Upon award the contractor will be required to coordinate delivery with the customer.
