Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSISThe 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for database toolbox (2 each) and matlab licenses (10 each) to include all shipping and handling costs. Requested delivery is approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an order. This is a Sole Source with The Mathworks, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. The Mathworks, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement as they are the only know producer of Matlab licenses and the Matlab database toolbox. Matlab licenses and database toolbox by Matlab are currently being used by the requesting organization. They require additional licenses to accommodate the growing number of users and also require more modern tools for interacting with the operational database. The Matlab database toolbox will allow them to develop more efficient algorithms in a shortened amount of time. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 7372 with a business size of $23.0M and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 511210. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that The Mathworks, Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
