- Vandenberg AFB, California intends to issue a solicitation for Aerobics Instructor Services. Services include instructing aerobic classes. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to instruct aerobic classes as defined in this performance work statement (PWS), except as specified in Section C-2 as government-furnished property and services, at Vandenberg AFB. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. The Contractor shall be certified in Aerobic training. Contractor shall be required to provide instructors for approximately 22 classes per week. Instructors are needed to teach for approximately 96 classes per month. Classes may be taught any day of the week at different times of the day. Approximate total number of classes to be taught October 06 ? September 07 is 1156 classes. Instructors will need to begin teaching 1 October 06. Performance will be for one Base year (1 Oct 06 ? 30 Sep 07) with four one-year option periods. The contract manager or alternate shall be locally available to physically meet on Vandenberg AFB during duties hours within 2 hours of notification. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov prior to award. Offerors are notified that failure to register may render their firm ineligible for award. Release of the RFP will be via the Internet. It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for the solicitation, notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. Interested parties may download the RFP upon its issuance from the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 14 Jul 06.
