Description

17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas, intends to issue a solicitation for replacement of ballasts at Goodfellow AFB, TX. This Solicitation, FA3030-06-T-0040, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstrative Program IAW FAR 19.1007 and is 100% set aside for Emerging Small Business IAW DFARS 219.502-2 (a)(i). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23210 and the small business size standard is $13 Million. The Emerging Small Business size standard for this procurement is $6.5 Million. The disclosure of magnitude of the project is less than $25,000 IAW FAR 36.204(a). The period of performance shall be 120 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. All responsible Sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Fedbizops website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 14 July 2006. The site visit will be held on about (O/A) 21 July 2006, and the Quote due date O/A 27 July 2006. Paper copies will not be available. Email and fax requests will be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. An Offeror shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (see CCR website at http:// ww.ccr.gov) and have completed the on-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.orca.bpn.gov.
