- The U.S. Department of Energy intends to award a sole source purchase order to Wood Mackenzie, Inc. of Houston, Texas for access to a Global LNG Online subscription. The period of performance under this purchase order will be three years, one base year with two option years. The features of Global LNG Online include a commercial overview and analysis for each LNG supply project including an economic summary, reserves, production, costs, contract, and taxation; a detailed analysis of current and future shipping route costs; LNG tanker capacity and construction, along with current and projected tanker costs; extensive data on the send out capacity and costs for all existing and planned re-gasification terminals; LNG company market strategies; global and regional overviews of LNG supply and consumption markets; and long-term contract pricing terms within the LNG industry. The proposed purchase order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties that feel they can provide these services may respond by submitting their capability statement, including prices, to the email address listed below. All submissions must be received within ten (10) days of the publication date of this notice.
