- The U.S. Department of Energy intends to award a sole source purchase order to Bloomberg LP of New York, New York for commercial timesharing services. The period of performance under this purchase order will be two years, one base year with one option year. The purchase order will provide Internet access to the Bloomberg News Service. The information available on Bloomberg News Service includes real-time access to the following optional services: European Energy Exchange (EEX), International Petroleum Exchange (IPE), Abu Dhabi Securities Market (ADSM), American Stock Exchange (AMEX), CBOE Futures Exchange (CBOE), London Stock Exchange Level 1 (UK1), Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and NASDAQ Level 1 (NASD). The proposed purchase order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties that feel they can provide these services may respond by submitting their capability statement, including prices, to the email address listed below. All submissions must be received within ten (10) days of the publication date of this notice.
