- Dockside repairs to the NOAA ship McArthur II. Repairs will be performed dockside at the Marine Operations Center, Seattle WA. Period of performance will be 5 Jan 07- 28 Feb 07. Repairs will include but are not limited to main propulsion generator engine overhauls and repairs, vent duct replacement, fire station enclosures, propulsion motor thrust bearing alarm, dry lab modifications, wet lab modifications, server room modifications, ET shop modifications, fuel and ballast tank vents, repairs, blast and preserve 01 level deck, install refrigeration pumps, install new duplex strainers, and galley modifications. The Government anticipates award of a fixed price contract. The ESTIMATED contract award date is 25 Sep, 2006. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation will be available on or about Aug 8, 2006, through the Government?s website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The ESTIMATED response due date is Sep 7, 2006. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps REGISTER to RECEIVE NOTIFICATION and REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR feature which provides notification when the RFP becomes available for download and all postings associated with the solicitation.
