- The purpose of this contract is to conduct field inventories for PETS (proposed for federal listing, federally listed as endangered or threatened, Regional Forester?s sensitive), locally rare, exotic, and other designated plants on a maximum of 1370 acres located on the Chattooga Ranger District, Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. These inventories will provide the documentation for Biological Evaluations prepared by the Forest Service for project activities. Contractors must be able to defend the quality and accuracy of their work should the need arise due to appeals or legal actions imposed against the Forest Service based on compliance with the Endangered Species Act or the National Forest Management Act.
