- The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for certified noxious weed-free pure live seed mix for the Black Mesa Ranger District, Potato Fire Rehab, Overgaard, Arizona. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract for grass seed mix to seed 2200 acres at a seeding rate of 26 lbs/acre PLS. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Award will be based on the successful offeror's response that provides the best price combined with the technical capability to meet the Government specifications. The Small Business size standard is $6.0 Million under NAICS Code 115310. The Closing Date for responses to the RFQ shall be July 7, 2006, 1:00 P.M. MST. The solicitation, specifications and maps will be made available on or after July 1, 2006, and will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) found at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) found at https://orca.bpn.gov.
