- Notice Of Intent to award a sole-source procurement. The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, California, intends to issue a sole-source solicitation and make a sole-source award for services to perform a survey for the Global Hawk Launch Recovery Element Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS). The survey shall verify that the coordinate system used to set up the DGPS is the same as the coordinate system used by the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) during its establishment of aircraft waypoints on Beale Air Force Base. Only one source and no other will satisfy agency requirements. The Contractor is Sierra Nevada Corporation, Sparks, Nevada. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources, however, may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
