- This is a sole source announcement. No Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be prepared and no hard copy will be made available. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SPAWAR San Diego) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to GE Fanuc Embedded Systems, Inc., 12090 S Memorial Pkwy., Huntsville, AL 35803 for 20 each Non-intelligent Fast Ethernet Network Interface Card, P/N PMC663STIND and 20 each Serial I/O Controller Card, Front Panel, Conformal Coated, P/N PMC422/FP-CC. The sole source is based on compatibility and reliability to existing systems. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Numbered Note 22 applies except all responses to this sole source announcement must be received within 7 days (in lieu of 45 days) from the date of this advertisement. Responsible firm's believing they can provide the above item, should submit a written response to the Contracting Officer by 07/06/2006, clearly showing their ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the product and without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
