- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Supermicro System, model #6034H-X8RB (Qty. 3); Supermicro System, model #6014H-82B (qty. 14), Supermicro System, model #6024-82RB for Common USW Sonar Test Bed. Sole make and model required to ensure compatibility, no substitutes. A written solicitation containing minimum requirements will be released on or about 07/10/06. The offeror will be required to integrate minimum requirements into the required servers. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-06-Q-4054. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is 100% set-aside for small business. Size standard is 1,000 employees.
