- Regular Overhaul (ROH) & Drydocking, for the USNS RAINIER (T-AOE 7) [Length, 753 ft. 8-1/2 in.; Length Between Perpendiculars, 730 ft. 0 in.; Breadth (Molded, MAX), 107 ft. 0 in.; Depth (Molded, 01 Level at Side), 66 ft. 2-1/2 in.; Draft (DWL), 40 ft. 8 in.; Displacement (Lightship), 20,267 TONS; Displacement (DWL), 53,000 TONS]. The period of performance for this requirement is to start 11 Sept 2006 and end 23 Nov 2006. The area of consideration is CONUS West Coast. This is an unrestricted procurement for MSRA holders. The major work items for this repair availability are: 1) Port & Starboard Main Reduction Gear Bearing RTD Replacement 2) Drydocking & Undocking Ship 3) Main Propulsion Shafting 4) Rudder Inspection & Overhaul 5) Underwater Hull Cleaning & Preservation 6) Hull Freeboard Cleaning & Preservation 7) Anchors, Anchor Chains, Chain Locker 8) Sea Valves 9) Sea Suction Discharge Lines. This requirement will be procured under full and open competition. Telephonic requests for the solicitation resulting from this notice will not be accepted.
