- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, (EOR) is soliciting bids for construction of Talihina Streets Project, Project No. G09907-2821(2)S, LeFlore County, Oklahoma. The scope of the project is for the construction and reconstruction of various streets in the Town of Talihina, Oklahoma. Work will include a minimum 2-inch thick asphaltic concrete overlay with some full-depth reconstruction. The overall length of roadway consists of approximately 7.8 miles in the town of Talihina, LeFlore County, Oklahoma.. The cost range of construction is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Request bid document by mail or walk-in on or after July 13, 2006 to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, EOR, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, PO Box 8002, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74402, with a $50.00 (non-refundable) cashier's check or money order made payable to the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Cash, Personal or Company checks are not acceptable. Bid opening date is August 15, 2006, 10:00 AM, CDST, Bureau of Indian Affairs, EOR, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma. This solicitation is a "Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program". The prevailing wage rates for LeFlore County will be used and a 20% Bid Bond is required. Bidders are to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at website www.ccr.gov., in order to receive awards from the Federal Government. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. There will be no Pre-Bid Conference for this solicitation. Faxes or telephone calls will not be accepted for the request of this bid.
