- The United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, is requesting a firm fixed-price construction for a 40' x 50' steel building. This is a "Turn Key" project consisting of all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supervisors, coordination and incidentals required to construct a 40'x50' steel building including concrete foundation and slab, pre-engineered metal building, interior wood framing and finishing, heating and air conditioning, electrical wiring, plumbing, connecting existing water, electric, gas, and sewer utilities to new building, fencing, paving and site work. The project is located at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma, and the building shall be ready for occupancy when the Contractor completes the work. This is a full and open competition acquisition and is set-aside for small business. Interested bidders are requested to submit a written request to obtain the solicitation package either by mail or by Facsimile, Fax No. 918 781-4621on or after July 13, 2006. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Period of performance is 120 calendar days. Bid opening date for this solicitation is August 16, 2006, 10:00 AM, CDST at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive awards from the Federal Government. To register or to learn more about the CCR, go to www.ccr.gov. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on July 27, 1:00 PM, CDST, at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74402.
