Description

Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to TerraGo Technologies, 155 Woolco Drive, Marietta, GA 30062. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Pr ocedures (SAP)  only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Procurement is for upgrades to floating licenses for MAP2PDF, MAP2PDF for ArcGIS, GeoPDF2GeoTIFF and MAP2PDF De-Collar and Mosaic Tool softwar e from TerraGo Technologies. TerraGo Technologies is the creator/developer of the above software suite and as such, is the only company that sells these products. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organiza tions may submit their capabilities/qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 14:00 hrs Central Time Zone on 30-Jun-2006. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of d etermining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
