(EMAIL: constance.jones@redstone.army.mil ) THIS ACQUISITION REQUIRES ACCESS CLASSIFIED DATA, WHICH REQUIRES THAT THE CONTRACTOR HAVE A CURRENT AND VALID FACILITY CLEARANCE AND SAFEGUARD CAPABILITY. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE US GOVE RNMENT. RFP will be issued to L-3 Communications Corporation, Electron Devices Div, 960 Industrial Rd, San Carlos, CA 94070-4116 (cage code 80080). This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm(s) listed. PRON: D16H2027, NOUN: Electron Tube, PN: 11440479, NSN: 5960-01-098-1170. The current known quantity for this item is 16. This acquisition covers potential requirements for three (3) years for a total maximum quantity of 46. Orders will be issued one o r more times as requirements materialize. However, this does not preclude the Government from ordering the maximum quantity at any time during the requirements period. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Destination to be furnished. A quantity of (1) one, Contr actor Tested First Article required. Delivery schedule 155 days after contract award for submission and acceptance of test report. Production Delivery schedule 110 days after acceptance of test report. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign Firm s are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified sources. A technical data package, which d efines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available.
