- This is a notice that the White Sands Missile Range Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to California Tube Laboratory of L-3 Communications, 125 Aviation Way, Watsonville, CA 95076-2058 for one (1) Magnetron Model PM-665C. Spe cifications as follows: 5.9 to 6.5 GHz Frequency of operation, 1000 kW Peak Pulse Power output, 1000 W Average Power output, 35-40 kV Peak anode Voltage, 80 A Peak anode Current, 80 mA Average anode current, 0.5 2.0 microseconds Pulse width, .001 Duty cycle, 10.0 V Filament Voltage, 15.0 A Filament Current, 480 second Warm-up time. Due to these unique capabilities of this specific magnetron, it can only be acquired from California Tube Laboratory. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies o r Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement. This notice is not a request for quotations. No solicitation or RFQ will be forth coming. Interested parties must respond by COB 30 June 2006. See Note 22. Point of contact is Mari B.
