- The Stratton VA Medical Center,Albany NY intends to award RFP 500-38-06 a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements Type Contract for a Certified Industrial Hygienist to provide professional services for asbestos and lead abatement removals performed in conjunction with Medical Center construction projects. Offerors should be fully licensed in accordance with all state and federal laws and have the capability and capacity to provide quality assurance inspection services, air monitoring and asbestos testing services. This announcement is open to qualified small business concerns. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 541380 ? Testing Laboratories. SELECTION CRITERIA: The VA will utilize the following selection criteria in descending order of importance: (1) Facilities experience and technical approach (2) Demonstrated ability. (3) Past Performance. (4) Price. Note: The government will not be required to place orders with successful offeror for any existing architect-engineered contracts.
