- VISIT THE NEWLY MODERNIZED FAA SMALL BUSINESS WEBSITE AND SOURCE-NET DATABASE! www.sbo.faa.gov The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Small Business Development Office (SBO) Website & Source-Net Database has recently undergone a modernization effortDeployed May, 2006, the FAA SBO Website has improved technical efficiency and operational effectiveness over the previous website and provides a more user-friendly interface to website users. Source-Net is an information database and marketing tool, accessible via the internet, used to identify potential SB sources for contracting opportunities. This database platform was upgraded during the website modernization effort and allows for; ?? FAA employees to search and query the database online to find SB vendors who are suitable for services, ?? Capability to search the database according to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code, ?? Capability to search the database according to business classification, business category, or business supplies and/or services provided. Accessible to headquarters and all regions and centers and maintained with the most up-to-date and current vendor data, the FAA and industry are encouraged to use this small business database. Vendor registration capability is currently available. >From the SBO Homepage one can also access; ?? Small Business contact information for headquarters, regions, and centers, ?? Contracting information such as current contracting opportunities and fiscal year procurement forecast, ?? Outreach materials and conference flyers, ?? FAA SBO documents such as the FAA SBO policy statement, agency SBO goals & accomplishments, subcontractor information, mentor-prot??g??, Acquisition Management System (AMS) document & guidance.
