- Description The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina, intends to issue a firm-fixed price, sole source purchase order to Innomed, Savannah, Georgia. The Federal Correctional Complex has a need for General and Specialized Surgical Instruments for use by its Orthopaedic Surgical Team. These instruments are proprietary in design . The Government believes that Innomed is the only company that will satisfy the agency requirement. This is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received within 5 working days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
