Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number for this effect is AMCOSSXX0206 and the solicittion is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorprated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full test. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) can be accessed on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ This is set aside for small business. The associated NAICS Code is 322213 and the small business standard is 500 employees. This requirement consists of one (1) line item with three (3) quotes requested. One for each of the following quantities: 3000 boxes, 5000 boxes and 7000 boxes. The Government will award on one or more of the quantities. Box dimensions are 15 1/4 inches x 13 1/4 inches x 3 1/2 inches (see attached box specifications). Two Pre-Production box samples will be required to be submitted along with your quote. Each pre-production box sample will be tested and must be approved before quotation can be accepted. All quotations and samples must be received by the closing date of this solicitation and will be considered best and final.
