- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for 1.5% lanthanated tungsten welding electrodes. Electrodes will be 3/32? in diameter by 1-3/8? long, tapered tip at 20 degrees, and 0.015? diameter tip. Estimated quantity is 50,000 per year with delivery being made FOB Destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA on a delivery order basis. The Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract, Supply Type contract will be for a base period of performance beginning on the date of award through one year thereafter, with the possibility of two one-year option periods. The 100% small business set-aside commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 12 July 2006 with a closing date of 26 Jul 2006. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date of 7 July 2006. No bid list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ/Amendments will be mailed. Materials are procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS.
