- SOURCES SOUGHT: The Bureau of Reclamation, Lake Berryessa intends to issue a BRAND NAME or EQUAL solicitation for the ProgressivTube Model PT-30-CN solar water heaters, 30 gallon. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238220, with a small business standard of $13 million. The acquisition is a firm-fixed contract. Purchase three (3) each Brand name or Equal. 1) Installation to be performed at dorm center to serve as a pre-heat to the existing hot water heating system; 2) Project may require re-enforcement of roof rafters and adaptation for proper installation of system; 3) Provide and install all copper piping and connections from existing water heater to solar preheat units; and 4) Replace all roof tiles during installation and ensure proper weatherseal of the roof. Any vendor wishing to provide items/equipment compatible with the equipment must provide the following information: name of manufacturer, part number, a description of the salient physical, function, and performance characteristics of the item including any available product specifications, and the cost of the item. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor to be awarded a government contract must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register will make an offeror ineligible for award. Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All the representations and certifications which used to be submitted within Section K are now located online. Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), can be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
