- Description
- Furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, and supplies, with the exception of Government-furnished supplies, to complete a stock water delivery system. Work is located in North Eastern Fergus County, Montana. Area maps will be provided with the Request for Quotations. There are (9) supply line items on the schedule; (1) Common Trenching, Backfilling, and Compacting - 9,592 lf; (2) PVC Pipe, Class 160, 2 inch 1,887 lf; (3) PVC Pipe, Class 200, 2 inch - 4,520 lf; (4) PVC Pipe, Schedule 80, 2 inch - 3,185; (5) Curb Stop Valve Assembly, 2 inch - 1 each; (6) Curb Stop Valve Assembly, 1 inch - 2 each; (7) Air Relief Valve Assembly - 7 each; (8) Watering Assembly - 2 each; (9) Water Trough Assembly - 2 each. The contractor shall have 60 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $25,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete their annual representations and certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database and ORCA will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Information for registration in ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of July 3, 2006. Response date for quotes will be on or about August 3, 2006. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of July 17, 2006. A firm date will be cited in Section L of the specifications. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available on the website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. However, ALL interested parties in a small business category may respond. If adequate interest or sufficient supporting documentation IS NOT received from two (2) or more responsible and responsive Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business concerns, the award may be issued as a small business set-aside without further notice or may be cancelled. Therefore, replies are encouraged from all small business entities. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. Small business size standard is $31.0 million.
