- DESCRIPTION: This services acquisition will be a 100% HUBZone set-aside. This will be a best value acquisition with past performance and price as evaluation factors and is for one basic year with four option years. The requirement is to provide lo gistics and technical/system management support services for the Chemical Biological Defense Equipment (CBDE) including but not limited to the Chemical Biological Protective Shelter (CBPS) and the Chemically Protected Deployable Medical System (CPDEPMEDS); assist in the planning, coordinating and interfacing with all functional areas supporting Army and other Joint Services medical and non-medical systems that protect the user from field concentrations of chemical-biological agents, toxins, and radioactive fallout particles. The contractor shall help plan, develop and coordinate system and logistical support for CBDE and associated components within the Chemical/Biological Defense Program Support Integration Directorate at Rock Island, IL and with applicabl e organizations, commands, and military departments. The contractor shall establish and update Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) milestone schedules, Supportability Strategy, Materiel Fielding Plans and required documentation for Materiel Release and Typ e Classification. The contractor will also be required to provide quarterly status reports to management and provide briefing packages for the Integrated Product Team (IPT). The period of performance is anticipated to be 11 Sep 06 10 Sep 11. The contr actor is required to perform 50% of the time on-site at TACOM-SBC, Rock Island, IL. In addition, the contractor must be willing to travel 25% of the time. The hours are not to exceed (NTE) 3120 hrs/yr for Integrated Logistic Support and NTE 1040 hrs/yr f or Program Management Support. Note 27 applies: The proposed contract is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered.
