Description
PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE ROBERT T. STAFFORD DISASTER RELIEF AND EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE ACT (42 U.S.C. 5121,et seq), THIS PROCUREMENT IS A LIMITED COMPETITION for QUALIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS (in accordance with 13 CFR Part 126) LOCATED IN THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI. There will be NO written solicitation. In order to be considered for this procurement, your firm must be located in a HUBZone, be registered in the CCR, operate under the NAICS code 561210 (SIC 8744), Facilities Support Services with a small business size standard of $30 million. The internet site to check if your firm is eligible as a qualified HUBZONE is https://eweb1.sba.gov/hubzone/internet/ . To register your business in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), go to http://www.ccr.gov/. Only qualified HUBZONE offers that are located in the State of Mississippi will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation factors listed in this solicitation. See Attachment 1 for Instructions to Offerors. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment as required to block, level, and anchor travel trailers (TT) in accordance with the Statement of Work (PWS) (Attachment 2). The Government intends to make multiple Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity awards as a result of this solicitation. Award will be made to up to 15 responsible offerors that conform to the solicitation and is the lowest price, technically acceptable offer according to the evaluation factors in the solicitation and within the competitive range. Each awardee will be guaranteed 1,000 units. The period of performance is from date of award for 120 days with the possibility of up to a six month extension (on a month-to-month basis). No follow-on procurement is anticipated once the work is completed. A site survey is scheduled for Thursday, June 29, 2006; 8:00 a.m., Location: Biloxi TRO, 2350 Beach Blvd, Biloxi, MS 39531, 228-385-7000; COTRS: Mike Keeney, 337-281-4932 and Jerry Harper, 832-588-0129. Contractors do not need to register for the site survey, just show up. All questions on the solicitation must be received by June 29, 2006, by 4:00 p.m. EST.
