- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for products prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a Firmed Fixed Price purchase order to provide the following contract line item numbers: Description Quantity 0001 ?VeriSign Managed PKI for SSL 200 Standard, 100 Intranet Certificates Each Server based digital certificate used for encryption of communications. Certificates will be used both internally and externally. This is for the purchase of 200 Standard, 100 Intranet additional server certificates for issuance as needed to various servers through out CDC in accordance with the terms of CDC?s existing account with Verisign. 0002 - VeriSign Managed PKI for BAS 5,000 Certificates Renewal of client based certificates and associated services for identity proofing, key escrow, and support. Certificates are issued to various CDC health partners and used for authentication to SDN. This is for the renewal of CDC?s existing account with Verisign covering approximately 5000 certificates. This procurement?s destination and delivery will be to Centers for Disease Control, Century Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia. The contractor shall deliver all items within 30 days after receipt of order. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 423430. This notice is a request for competitive proposals. The offeror shall provide separate pricing for each of the contract line item numbers. Firms that believe they can provide the products need to submit written proposals and a statement of capabilities to the Contracting Specialist within 15 days from the publication date of this notice. The Government reserves the right to award any, all, or none of the items above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registry(CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. CCR registration can be completed online at http://www.ccr.gov.
