- The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and incidental supplies necessary to perform Site Preparation on 358 acres of forest stands killed by the Southern Pine Beetle by pushing over trees while pulling a 20,000 pound roller drum chopper filled with water using a Cat D6H dozer, 165 horsepower or equivalent. The government will furnish the roller drum chopper. The Technical Contact for this project is Tony Martoglio at 606-376-5323. This project will be solicited using the Request for Quotations format. Successful quoters are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or award cannot be made. You may register at the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. This solicitation will also be available on this website on or around 7/10/06.
