- Description
- This solicitation is for noncommercial thinning and slash treatment on the Walla Walla Ranger District. The worksites are located through out the Walla Walla Ranger District in the State of Oregon. All units have several tree species present. The most common species are ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, western larch, Engelmann spruce, grand fir, and lodgepole pine. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish noncommercial thinning in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. This solicitation will result in a performanced-based, multiple-year, Indefinate Delivery Indefinate Quantity type contract. The estimated quantity stated in the schedule reflects the approximate need the Umatilla National Forest anticipates having during the life of the contract. The estimated quantity is not a representation that the estimated quantity will be required or ordered, or that conditions affecting requirements will be stable or normal. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on July 7, 2006 and offers are due July 28, 2006.
