- ROAD 24N60 CULVERT REPLACEMENT consists of the installation of a 12-foot wide bottomless arch culvert on concrete footings to replace the existing culvert on Forest Service road 24N60 at Emigrant Creek. Project work includes: project de-watering and pollution control, structural excavation, removal and disposal of the existing culvert, forming and placement of concrete footings, quality control, installation and erection of the corrugated steel arch culvert, and placement of crushed aggregate road surfacing.The culvert replacement site is located on Plumas National Forest System lands approximately 15 miles east of the Plumas County community of Quincy in Section 18, T24N, R12E, Mt. Diablo baseline and meridian. Leave California Highway 70 approximately 2 miles east of Portola, CA and head north on Plumas County Road 112. Continue on 112 along the east side of Lake Davis to the head of the lake and then further west on 112 to its intersection with Forest Service road 24N60. The culvert site is on Road 24N60, less than ? mile south of its intersection with PC 112.
