- Two Type ll Medium Standard Category helicopters with fire fighting as the primary use. Designated Bases: Malheur National Forest, Grant County Regional Airport (Ogilvie Field) John Day, OR 1st year Mandatory Availability Period: July 17, 2006 to September 14, 2006 (60 days). Mandatory Availability Period thereafter: June 4, through September 16, (105 days) Designated Bases: Umatilla National Forest, Frazier Helibase, 20 miles east of Ukiah, Oregon, just south of Hwy 244. 1st year Mandatory Availability Period: July 17, 2006 to September 19, 2006 (65 days). Mandatory Availability Period thereafter: June 4, through September 21, (110 days) Contract duration is one year from date of award. The contract may be renewed for additional 1 year periods, not to exceed two renewal periods. Solicitation is scheduled to be posted on this site on or about June 23, 2006. When calling be prepared to state name, address, and solicitation number. This requirement is set aside for small business and is being solicited under Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
