- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY SOLICITATION; proposals/ quotes are being requested and a SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation, number N00244-06-T-0714 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). An electronic copy of this RFQ/synopsis can be accessed at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) current through 20060519 Edition. This acquisition is a competitive and unrestricted action. The NAICS code is 339112 and the business size standard is 500E. The fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) requests response from qualified sources capable of providing: LEGACY PHACO PAKS, MACKOOL for Cataract Surgery, 10/BX. The proposed contract will be a Standing Order for one-year period to commence 06 October 2006. Offeror must provide all the documents and quote in order to be considered for award. The Government will award a contract resulting from the RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government. Award will be made to the Offeror that meets the solicitation?s minimum criteria, i.e., lowest price, in accordance with the delivery schedule, and past performance. To be determined eligible, Offeror must furnish at least three previous contract with the same requirement along with product literature that demonstrate that the offeror can meet all requirements stated in the purchase descriptions and provide a statement explaining how it will meet the required delivery schedule.
