- Description
- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Aluma Tower, 1639 Old Dixie Hwy, Vero Beach, FL 32960 . This contract will be for the procurement of: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 TM-12/T-BD-135, 15 foot long galvanized single axle trailer with 35 foot aluminum crank up tower and Number 664-M aluminum storage box with TM-TK trailer tool kit. Unit o f Issue: Each, Quantity: 4. Aluma Tower is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source that can provide the required lightweight trailer tower unit. Acquiring these items will provide compatibility in form, fit, and function with ex isting lightweight trailer tower units that are currently in use at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed items. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these items, then you must respond by 28 June 2006, 3:00PM Mountain Standa rd Time. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 7 days instead of 45 days.
