- SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR TWO (2) 2MDP-1424 Multicouplers. DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH Mu-Del Electronics. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Mu-Del Electronics, 8576 Wellington Road, Manassas, VA 20109. The Sole Source purchase will be for the following two (2) commercial items: MODEL: 2MDP-1424 Description: L and S Band Multicoupler Frequency: RF Outputs: Dual Channel, 8 Outputs Frequency: 1.435 GHz to 2.4 GHz Gain: 0 +/- 1 dB Noise Figure: 7.0 dB max Phase Shift: 0.5 Radians max Phase Linearity: +/- 1?a max/ 30 MHz Input Third Order I.P: 0 dBm min Input Level @ 1 dB Gain Compression: -2 dBm min Isolation Output/Output: 50 dB min Isolation Output/Input: 50 dB min VSWR input: 1.5:1 max VSWR input: 1.5:1 max Impedance (Input/Output): 50 ohms nominal Chassis: Self-contained with own power supply Size: 2 rack units (RU) Connectors: Type N Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the two (2) 2MDP-1424 Multicouplers above. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by Close of Business (COB), 30 Jun 06, a Sole Source purchase order will be pursued with Mu-Del Electronics, 8576 Wellington Road, Manassas, VA 20109.
