- Notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR Part 12 and 13.106-1(b), to NTSA, Arlington, Virginia for exhibit space for the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference to be held in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center, December 4, 2006 through December 7, 2006. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have ten (10) days from the date of publication of this Synopsis, to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after ten (10) days, or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the address or facsimile number stated herein and to the attention of Ms. Roxana Nichols, Purchasing Agent. Responses to this notice must be received by close of business, June 29, 2006. Responses must include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number with area code. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Requests may be faxed to (703) 767-4691. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this request for quote. Numbered Note 22 applies.
