- The Regional Contracting Office Southwest is soliciting quotes for bottled water, to be delivered to the Eagle Mountain facility, located near Desert Center California. The requirement is for approximately 16,940 cases of 12, 1 liter bottles, and an optional line item for an additional 3,080 cases of 12, 1 liter bottles. Cases of water shall be palletized on standard warehouse pallets. Delivery times are staggered, with delivery beginning on 5 July 2006, and with subsequent deliveries occurring every Wednesday thereafter, see solicitation for exact dates. The actual quantities ordered will be adjusted to conform with the successful offeror?s truck-load capacity. This solicitation will be evaluated based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Prices shall be quoted FOB destination and inclusive of any redemption fees. This is an unrestricted acquisition. No extension to the closing date of this solicitation will be made. Award is anticipated to be made no later than the close of business on 28 June 2006. This acquisition is being solicited using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items, as listed in FAR subpart 13.5.
