- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to procure on a sole source basis from Electronic Data Systems of Herndon, VA services for the acquisition and logistic support of Aviation Support Equipment for the Navy Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) Philadelphia. Services include data extraction and analysis utilizing various data bases, including the NAVICP Master Data File (MDF) and Support Equipment Resources Management Information System (SERMIS) to support NAVAIR PMA-260 and NAVICP Code 0332 with the management of 6R and 2V Cog End Items of support equipment as well as 1RW and 7R items of support equipment. The resultant contract is anticipated to commence 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07 and consist of four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for a total performance period of 60 months, if all options are exercised. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The instant acquisition shall be conducted using the test procedures at FAR Subpart 13.5. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release, which is anticipated on or about 15 Jul 06 at the NECO web address: www.neco.navy.mil. Interested parties may download the RFQ from the NECO website and are solely responsible for monitoring the above-mentioned website for posting.
