- PLEASE DELETE PREVIOUS SYNOPSIS N0016406R8979, AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING: This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov, and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Offerors are encouraged to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division Web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm. The Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for AN/SPS48E Miscellaneous Parts. These parts will be fabricated by Machine Shops from alloy steel and stainless steel utilizing specification control drawings. Description of items is as follows: Frame Bolt P/N NAS572C105) (National Aerospace Standard NAS 563 thru 572) (Quantity Minimum 100 Maximum 3,600) ? This bolt is used on the SPS-48E antenna. It secures the upper half of the antenna to the lower half of the antenna while maintaining alignment. Product Description: Bolt is full threaded, 160 KSI Steel with a drilled head Material: Alloy Steel Thread: .7500-16 Diameter Min: 1.110 Length: 3.281 Tensile Strength: 59500 Heat Treat: 160-180 KSI Shoulder Bolt (P/N 196191-1) (ITT Gilfillan Drawing No. 196191 Rev D, Bolt, Shoulder,) (Quantity Minimum 100 Maximum 3,600) ? This bolt is used on the SPS-48E antenna. It secures the upper half of the antenna to the lower half of the antenna. Product Description: Material 17-4 Stainless Steel Thread Pitch: 18 tpi Shoulder Diameter: .748? Shoulder Length: 2.312? Thread Length: 1.1? Thread Diameter: 5/8? Thread Type: 3A Thd Fit Heat Treat: 40-50-HRC Structure Bolt (P/N NAS570C83) (National Aerospace Standard NAS 563 thru 572) (Quantity Minimum 150 Maximum 3,000) ? Maximum quantity is 3,000 not 30,000 due to a change by the end user) This bolt is used on the SPS-4E antenna. It secures the upper half of the antenna to the lower half of the antenna. Product Description: Bolt is full threaded, 160 KSI Steel with a drilled head Material: Alloy Steel Thread: .6250-18 Diameter Min: .985 Length: 2.594 Tensile Strength: 40900 Heat Treat: 160-180 KSI This requirement is anticipated to result in a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for a period of five-years with a minimum order quantity and maximum ordering quantity as specified above. Delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, Indiana 47522, as specified in the RFP. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by NSWC Crane personnel. THIS IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. DRAWINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN RFP IS ISSUED. Solicitation N00164-06-R-8979 will be issued competitively. The solicitation will be available on or about 26 June 2006 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm. Estimated closing date is on or about 10 July 2006. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from the NECO web site by clicking on the ?Submit Bid? does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the Point of Contact (POC) at NSWC Crane.
