- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2, Webster Field St Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order with Lynux Works, 855 Embedded Way, San Jose, CA 95138-1030 to supply 3 each SPYKER PRO 2.2 FOR LOS4.0/LOS-178 2.1 PPC + SPRT P/N ALSKP-PPC4220, 2 each Windows hosted Visual Lynux for PPC LynsOS targets P/N ALVL-PPC4-511 and 2 each LOS 4.0 ODE MVME 5500 Windows hosted +SPRT P/N AODEW-MP74-400. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other service or supply will satisfy the agency requirements. Lynux Works is the only manufacturer known capable of providing the required licenses that meets the government miminum requirement. These licenses must work with the existing LynuxOS software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they identify their interest and capability. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
