- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)intends to negotiate and award a modification for the effort required to support the Tomahawk Block IV All-Up=Round (AUR) integration into the DDG-1000 launch platform. Technical Support in the areas of sytems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, performance engineering, safety, integrated logistics support (ILS) and integration, verification and test (IVT) as well as program management. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Raytheon Systems Company (RSC), P.O. Box 113377, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337. Since 1994, RSC has been the sole developer, designer and manufacturer of the Tomahawk All-Up Round. RSC solely possesses the current configuration and manufacturing data for the Tomahawk Block IV missile. RSC currently manages the key requirements, interface, integration, and verification documents of the Tomahawk Weapon System. Because a detailed knowledge and expertise of the Tomahawk Block IV missile is required to perform this effort, RSC is the only source capable of performing the necessary tasks in the required timeframe and without duplication of costs.
