- The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a sole-source purchase order to the Sacramento Area Council of Governments, Sacramento, CA, for natural-color, 6"-resolution 2006 digital aerial image tiles for the Sacramento Urban Area. The proposed contract action is for goods for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302. This is a multi-agency purchase for high-resolution imagery to be placed in the public domain through The National Map. Delivery to Menlo Park, CA by 10/31/06. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer by email (pmichel@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown for this announcement.
