The U.S. Geological Survey, Geologic Hazards Team (GHT), Golden, Colorado has a requirement for non-personal services to provide out of office hours (OOH), 365 day operation, Tier 1 emergency IT response services. Services require expertise in providing OOH support to mission-critical real-time systems; demonstrated expertise in fault analysis of complex computer systems/networks; senior level engineers must hold expert-level infrastructure and/or security certifications (CCIE, CISSP, MCP, etc.); experience administrating Windows Servers, Solaris, and FreeBSD UNIX servers; demonstrated experience in using the SiteScope Monitoring System and use of Change Management and Help Disk systems; provide in-house (not outsourced) support services. The Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation No. 06CRSS0037 will be electronically available on or about July 24, 2006 with written responses due within 30 days of the issue date. Interested parties may access a copy or download the document by going to http://ideassec.nbc.gov. Telephone request for a hard copy of the solicitation will not be accepted. Interested parties must be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registration) http://www.ccr.gov to be considered for a contract award. The government anticipates awarding a one year basic contract with two twelve month option years. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small businesses. Note 1 and Note 26 apply.
