Large Hay Bales for Yellowstone National Park Amendment #1 6/22/06 A) This announcement constitutes amendment #1 to the Request for Quote # Q1573060138 which was issued as combine synopsis / solicitation # A1573060138. B) General Description: Weed-free certification will not be an evaluation factor for award, and thus, quoters do not have to provide a weed-free certificate with their quote. However, the successful quoter shall be required to submit a weed-free certificate after contract award. C) Solicitation changes, deletions or additions: 3) Statement of Work; Submittals; Add the following sentence: "Weed free certification: Quoters shall provide certification from the county or state that the hay source to be used is weed free." 4) Clauses and Provisions; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items; Delete the last sentence stating: "Weed free certification: Quoters shall provide certification from the county or state that the hay source to be used is weed free."
