Description

Preventive and remedial maintenance for twelve (12) government-owned test equipment systems, Agilent HP3070, located at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna PA. Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Agilent Technologies, I nc., 9780 South Meridian Boulevard, Englewood CO 80112 for the preventive/remedial maintenance and calibration of twelve (12) HP3070 ATE Systems for a base period of thirteen (13) months with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. Preventive maintenan ce includes cleaning, adjusting, lubricating, inspecting and testing those items which require such preventive maintenance. Maintenance support service includes the entire system: controllers, peripherals such as the oscilloscopes, and the test fixtures/te st heads. Remedial maintenance will be provided on a next day basis with downtime limited to forty-eight (48) hours after the call for service is placed. Engineering improvements of the system will be installed as they become available; Software and manual updates will be provided as they bcome available. Agilent Technologies is the only known source capable of providing this service. No competitive technical data package is available for maintenance of any of the items. Any firms believing they can provide the required service should contact the Contract Specialist identified within ten (10) days of this notice.
