Item is a Vibrator. NSN: 2925014217473RV. P/N: 10-614500-1. The Vibrator, state of the art ignition exciter, contains solid state circuitry with modular replaceable board construction. Contains AC/DC power supply to provide a 21-27 kilowatt spark to ignite/start TF33-100 engine Approx. Size 10.25"X4.25"X2.825" Stainless Steel Housing and cover sealed by welding. I.A.W. current drawings. Quantity Range MIN 6 - MAX 14 EA. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: December 2006. Government/Commercial, new/unused surplus is acceptable. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 7 July 2006. The anticipated award date is August 2006. Qualification requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design can be considered approved sources for this design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the Government to be similar in complexity and criticality can be considered approved sources for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Written quotations are required. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which will be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with Unison Industries. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source selection process.
