The Solicitation FA8103-06-Q-0662 will be issued around 10 July 2006 and the solicitation Due Date should be around 10 Aug 2006. Item needed is: Jack, Hydraulic, Trip, and NSN: 1730-01-268-4715 KR, P/N: DAA7200P030-101, Quantity nine (9) and the Unit of Issue is EACH. The delivery destination will be Whiteman AFB MO and the deliver date will be 28 Feb 2007. The anticipated award date will be 5 Sep 2006. This is a SOLE SOURCE AWARD and the Government does not have the DATA or DRAWINGS. This award will be EVALUATED as Lowest Price Technical Acceptable LPTA and the criteria are in the L and M segments of the solicitation. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C) (1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
